HR Manager (Work from home 4 days per week)Bromsgrove, West Midlands£55,000-£60,000HR Recruit is looking for an experienced HR professional to join our fast-growing SME. This newly established, stand-alone role will report directly to the Senior Leadership team. Our forward thinking, innovative organisation offers significant potential for future role development. Your primary responsibility is to oversee all aspects of human resources within our organisation. Your focus will be on creating a positive work environment, fostering strong employer-employee relations, and supporting the company's growth objectives.You will need to travel to the office 1 day per week.Role Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with employees, acting as a trusted advisor to both employees and management, promoting open communication and resolving conflicts effectively.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
  • Lead the recruitment process, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Develop and implement employee retention strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Analyse turnover trends, conduct exit interviews, and recommend improvements to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement.
  • Identify opportunities for career development and create initiatives to support employee growth.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files, benefits information, and training records.
  • Collaborate with managers to establish performance management systems and processes, including goal-setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
  • Collaborate with finance to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and manage compensation-related matters such as salary reviews and incentive programs.

Person Specification

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or HR Generalist, preferably in a high-growth company.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships
  • at all levels of the organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience in recruitment and talent acquisition strategies.
  • Solid understanding of performance management and employee development practices.
  • Proficient in HR software systems and MS Office suite.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Previous experience of working in an SME would be an advantage.
