Financial Accountant

Butler Rose is pleased to be partnering with our Buckingham based client, a dynamic and thriving organisation, with the recruitment of a Financial Accountant to join their team. This is an office-based role situated in a wonderful environment and a supportive and collaborative team.

The primary objective of this position is to ensure the timely and precise production of financial reports that adhere to regulatory standards. As well as enhancing the efficiency of financial operations throughout the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain precise financial statements in line with statutory requirements.
• Supervise the general ledger to ensure accurate and timely recording of all transactions.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Conduct detailed analysis of financial data to identify trends and variances.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
• Produce weekly and monthly cash forecasts.
• Assist internal and external auditors.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Preferably ACCA/CIMA Qualified (considering PQ/finalists with relevant experience).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence decisions.
• Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in implementing procedures/systems is advantageous.
• Previous experience in supporting junior team members is beneficial.
