Fabulous, growing business in the High Peak currently have an immediate opening for a highly organised, assertive and experienced 'Operations Planner' to work in their Head office function. Reporting to the Operations Director the main remit is to support the field team with their day to day duties including accommodation and ensure the compliance and training process is up to date. You have excellent administration skills, be an adept multi-tasker and used to a fast paced, changing environment.

Core Duties include:

  • Management and ownership of operations work planner
  • Admin support for the Operations team
  • Aid successful new starter process
  • Plan ahead on training requirements ensuring up to date records
  • Organise and review of labour resource planner, working with the Engineers, Supervisors and Project Managers to allocate the correct resource in the most efficient way
  • Purchase goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets.
  • Manage PPE stocks stored at office.
  • Prepare and raise purchase orders and order schedules when required
  • Control and updating of files and documents as part of our internal job management system
  • Update, track and record field assets such as Vans, tool and IT equipment.
  • Booking and arranging training requirements.
  • Support of the daily project activities that may arise.
  • Maintain regular contact with local working partners, be the communication link between the office and field team, checking and updating each one on their work plan
  • Contribute to the monthly activities report
  • Arrange accommodation cost effective (e.g. Premier Inn, AirBNB) for project teams working around the UK.

The successful candididate will come from an Operations, Administrative or related background.
