The role: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: A Primary School in Caerphilly
Pay: Starting at £84 per day
The responsibilities as an integral part of our team of LSA's include:
- Providing support to students in their academic and personal development
- Assisting with day-to-day classroom activities under the guidance of teachers
- Implementing behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Collaborating with fellow staff members to ensure cohesion within the classroom environment
- To keep up to date with the relevant policy and legislation
- To communicate effectively with staff, parents and pupils.
Criteria:
- Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) or Teaching Assistant is desirable.
- Knowledge and understanding of ALN/SEN and how to support individuals with diverse learning needs.
- Strong communication skills
- Passionate about supporting the development of children
