Contract Manager - Renewable EnergyCambridge£45 per hourFull Time Contract ( 6-9 months long)Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Contract Manager in Camridge. This is a contract without a scope for extension working full time hours. The job:
- Assure target cost and budget estimate requests on the NEC Contracts
- Advise the team on the status of target costs and whether they are contractually and commercially compliant
- Interrogate the costs management systems for both the client and contractors, ensuring compliance with prime records
- Provide guidance on the NEC form of Contract with particular emphasis of change management for the contracts and frameworks
- Attend meetings with officers and contractors, offer guidance and support to the teams throughout Place & Sustainability
The candidate:
- HNC or degree in Quantity Surveying is essential
- Relevant professional status, RICS, ICE, CIHT or relevant industry is preferred
- CSCS card, CITB accredited is preferred
- Experience in a similar role, dealing with civic engineering is essential
- Knowledge of NEC contracts is essential
