Job Title: Machine OperativeLocation: CambridgeJob Type: Full-time, TemporaryResponsibilities:
- Set up and operate construction machinery, including excavators, loaders, and other heavy equipment.
- Safely handle and manoeuvre machinery on construction sites.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of the machinery.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a machine operative in the construction industry.
- Familiarity with various construction machinery and tools.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Relevant certifications for operating construction machinery (CPCS, NPORS, etc.)
