The Opportunity:

This is an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic and progressive Head of Finance to join this business in this exciting growth phase, contributing to the overall performance and management of the business. The role will involve working closely with the FD, and there are very real progression prospects to FD level within the next 2 years.

The Role:

·Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organisational goals and objectives

·Drive financial planning processes including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modelling

·Analyse financial performance and provide insights to the Board for strategic decision-making

·Assist with the setting up of a US entity including statutory reporting and liaising with relevant stakeholders

·Monitoring, assigning and creating funds to ensure adequate cashflow

·Lead the annual audit, liaising with external auditors

·Monitor and develop internal controls and processes ensuring best practice

·Responsible for all statutory compliance, including statutory reporting and necessary VAT/tax compliance, in the UK and overseas

·Business partnering with the senior management team

·Manage, develop and mentor a large finance team

The Candidate:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • A Confident and effective communicator with a proven track record of driving business growth
  • Previous experience of managing and leading a team
  • International experience is desirable
  • A flexible hands-on approach to work
  • Hard working, driven and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A continuous improvement approach
  • Previous experience of managing financial processes and delivering high quality management reporting
  • Strong IT skills, particularly ERP systems and Excel
