Job Title: Interim Finance Director (3-6 Months Contract)

Robert Half Talent Solutions are currently seeking an experienced Interim Finance Director to join a dynamic event management company based in Cardiff. This is a 3 to 6 month interim contract starting ASAP. This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant, growing company in the events industry.

The Role:

As the Interim Finance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the operations, ensuring the company's financial health during this transitional period. Your main duties will include:

• Overseeing all financial operations, including cash flow management.
• Preparation and submission of monthly management accounts
• Weekly, monthly reporting and forecasting
• Preparing and presenting timely financial statements
• Financial analysis and providing commentary to aid strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Finance Director/ Senior Finance Professional within the events or hospitality industry.
• Must hold a full professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
• Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
