Our client is looking for a Grading Operative to join their growing team in Adlington.

Hours

Mon-Fri 08:30-16:30 (early finish on Friday if targets are met.

Pay starting at £11.44 with chance to progress in the team once perm.

Job Responsibilities

  • Evaluate damages and select appropriate grades for products using the grading guide provided
  • Restoration of all styles of upholstered leather and fabric furniture as well as fully constructed wood, flat pack, dining, and bedroom furniture
  • Enter all product details to cloud-based spreadsheets and check the pre-existing data is correct
  • Wrap and pack the product ready for transport
  • Follow standard operating procedures and ensure daily/weekly/monthly performance levels are achieved
  • Strong commitment to safety policies and procedures and ability to promote awareness with team members
  • Follow GDPR data protection principles

  • An aptitude for self-assembly flat pack furniture
  • Awareness of online buyer expectations

  • Experience of using spreadsheet-based data entry systems (not essential, training provided)
  • Experience of using hand / power tools
  • Experience in a furniture-based industry
