Job Title: Events Administrator- Maternity Cover

Location: Moira- Co. Down

Salary and Benefits: Salary- £26k- £28k - will depend on level of experience

Employment Type- Maternity Contract (Full time hours) with 1 day WFH- must be flexible with hours when attending events. Starting May 2024.

Hours - 9am-5pm

The Right Client- Nominate Recruitment are thrilled to be partnering with a successful events & publication company based in Moira who are looking for an Events Assistant.

The Right role:

· Planning of all events including managing operations on-the-day;

· Speaker liaison including organising travel and accommodation;

· Exhibition sales and bookings for events;

· Managing relationships with event sponsors and other commercial partners;

· Identifying and securing speakers for conferences;

· Researching relevant and high quality conference content and production of conference websites and brochures;

· Designing and executing marketing campaigns for events and publications including all digital marketing;

· Maintaining/researching and updating company databases and contact lists;

· Supporting editorial staff in researching, fact-checking and proof-reading content for publications.

The Right Fit:

· Have strong oral and written communication skills;

· At least 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role

· Be well organised with a professional and engaging manner;

· Ability to work accurately and reliably under pressure and to tight deadlines;

· Have the ability to work on their own initiative and multi-task.

Driving licence and access to own transport is essential for this role. Events/conference attendance will be required, which will include occasional overnight stays along with early morning starts and late evenings.
