Our client are a leading manufacturer of plastic products to the utilities, construction and telecomms sectors.

Based at their plant in Lurgan, we are recruiting a Maintenance Technician to join the team, working a continental shift rotation of 2 weeks days and 2 weeks nights.

We are open to mechanical, electrical or multi-skilled candidates, with maintenance experience needed in Manufacturing/ Production settings.

The Role

  • Planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery
  • Fault finding and repairs across mechanical and electrical systems
  • Carry out PM work and record accurately
  • Work with colleagues and maintenance supervisor as a team effectively
  • Respond to breakdowns, trouble shoot and take corrective action
  • Help with machine installs, upgrades and modifications
  • Apply good health & safety practice and keep a tidy work area

What we are looking for

  • Level 3/ time served Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical or Multi-skilled
  • Maintenance experience in a similar manufacturing setting
  • Strong fault finding skills
  • Knowledge of engineering drawings
  • Multi-skilled ability across electrical and mechanical
