Mechanical Fitter
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling metal parts to create high-quality products. Key responsibilities include mechanical maintenance and installation, welding, and fabrication on a broad range of equipment, including hydraulic systems.

Duties Include:- Mechanical fitting using engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Working on precision parts, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies
- Performing final tests and commissioning on partially or fully completed systems
- Raising non-conformance issues
- Meeting set deadlines to achieve performance targets and customer delivery commitments
- Ensuring products are built to the correct technical and quality specifications
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety
- Installing, testing, and repairing hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, and valves
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply instructions correctly to achieve required product quality
- Proficient in using hand tools, grinders, and drills
- Experience with a range of mechanical and hydraulic systems and components
- Demonstrated experience using various engineering equipment
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply instructions correctly to achieve required product quality
- Previous experience working with hydraulics
- Engineering Apprenticeship qualification within a manufacturing/engineering environment or a relevant recognized qualification (or extensive industry experience)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Up to £14.00 per hour
