Would you like to use your understanding and experience of programming and operating CNC machines to make an impact in a brand new CNC Operator position where your work will be seen internationally around the world?A leading manufacturer of bespoke products have created a new CNC Operator opportunity - the first time this has been done in-house - where you will be responsible for using a new saw and drill machine to cut and drill holes in brass extruded parts to create bespoke products for clients in the UK and around the world. This will involve programming the dimensions in by interpreting technical drawings, and quality checking your work to ensure the very high standards the business has built its reputation on are maintained. There is chance in the future for you to have a team built around you as well as the in-house function is developed.As a CNC Operator, your new role will involve:

Interpreting technical drawings and specs to ensure accurate machining processes
Setting up, programming and operating the saw and drill line
Resolving and issues with machines
Quality checking parts upon completion to ensure they meet standards
Performing routine machine maintenance when needed to ensure optimum performance

I am very interested in speaking to candidates who have experience working as a CNC Machine Operator, CNC Operator, CNC Machinist, Machine Technician, Computer Numerical Control Operator, or Computer Numerical Control Machinist, and who have worked with metal (ideally brass) and have the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.Salary for this position is £35,000 to £40,000 p.a. (depending on level of experience).The business offers some free parking on-site.
