Maths Teacher Responsibilities:

- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies, practical demonstrations, and real-world applications to bring mathematical concepts to life and demonstrate their relevance and importance.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel empowered to ask questions, explore mathematical ideas, and develop their problem-solving abilities.
- Assess student progress through a range of formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth and development.
- Promote a positive attitude towards mathematics by showcasing its relevance in everyday life and encouraging students to pursue further study and careers in STEM fields.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular links, participate in departmental meetings, and contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Relevant university degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching maths within a UK school setting is preferred, but not essential.
