Assistant Accountant

RG Consultancy are currently working with a large manufacturing business in Crewe who are looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant to support the Finance Manager in managing the transactional duties within a medium finance department. The Role

• Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts
• Oversee and manage the purchase ledger, process purchase invoices
• Bank reconciliations
• Process supplier payment runs
• Preparation of monthly accruals and prepayments
• Processing expenses
• Support credit control where needed

The Person

• Strong IT skills and system knowledge
• SAGE experience is desirable
• Part qualified and working towards AAT/CIMA/ACCA
• Strong MS Excel skills
