Your new companyHays are delighted to be partnering with a dynamic private sector organisation based in St Andrews who are looking to appoint an HR Manager to their team on a permanent basis.

Your new roleIn this role you will be responsible for covering the end to end employee lifecycle, with a specific focus on employee relations and recruitment. You will also work as part of the wider team to support in providing administrative and delivery support on a range of HR projects and initiatives. The role will be based on site the majority of the time with the ability to work from home on occasion. Duties will include:

  • Provide generalist HR advice, guidance and support on policies, procedures and systems.
  • Lead on employee relations, coaching department managers on best practice and support, guide decision making to ensure consistency of approach and that appropriate practice HR solutions and adopted.
  • Manage recruitment selection and onboarding activities, ensuring processes are delivered for all applicants and new employees.
  • Support the leadership team with the planning and delivery of initiatives to enhance recruitment, employee engagement, performance, retention and overall workplace culture.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and documentation and create and analyse HR metrics to identify areas for improvements.

What you'll need to succeedYou will need to be an experienced HR professional, ideally with CIPD level 5 qualifications or equivalent training/experience. You will need to have experience of employee relations case management and guiding managers through the process and a strong working knowledge and application of current UK employment legislation.What you'll get in return
