HR Officer
Part time - 20-25 hours available
Office based role with 1 day working from home.
Our client isseeking a motivated individual to elevate theirpeople strategy. Your role? To provide top-notch HR support that's both dynamic and comprehensive. Boost HR engagement, streamline processes, and offer proactive assistance in Recruitment, Employee Relations, and Employee Development.
Essential Functions:
- Cultivate collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, from Managers to trade unions, ensuring smooth operations.
- Offer expert advice and administrative support throughout the employment life cycle, from recruitment to termination.
- Support the Director, Human Resources with efficient administration to keep our HR operations running smoothly.
- Ensure compliance with external standards like ISO, GDPR, and others, maintaining our competitive edge.
- Contribute to Best Practice HR initiatives alongside the HR team, keeping us ahead of the curve.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Drive departmental objectives and KPIs, monitoring and reporting on our progress.
- Maintain relationships with external service providers, ensuring accurate and timely data.
- Stay informed about HR trends, providing feedback and support to the Director, Human Resources and Line managers.
- Uphold high standards of behavior within the team, promoting a positive work environment.
- Assist in managing benefits provision and maintenance, from payroll to healthcare.
Education, Knowledge, Skills, Training, and Experience:
- Hold an HND qualification and be a Graduate Member of CIPD, ready to hit the ground running. (Desirable not essential)
- Excel in fast-paced environments, preferably with experience in Manufacturing
- Bring aHR Generalist background to the table, with a knack for problem-solving.
- Possess excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills.
- Work well in a team and can handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in Excel/PowerPoint and data analysis.
