Production Manager

Position: Production Manager

Location: Birmingham

Hours: Monday-Friday (Early finish Friday)

Salary: 45,000-55,000 per annum with additional benefits

Requirements:

• Qualified to degree level in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

• Experienced working in a busy production environment.

• Experience and knowledge of Laser, plasma and flame cutting processes.

• Machine programming experience.

• Familiar with up to date health and safety standards in a manufacturing environment.

Duties and responsibilities

• Management of production staff.

• Liaise with sales team and manage production schedules.

• Organise all maintenance of crane and machinery.

• Purchase of all tools essential for the running of the facility.

• Programming laser, flame and plasma cutting machinery.

• Ensure health and safety requirements are followed.

• Manage and organise recruitment including training staff.

• Order materials, update stock and manage invoicing.
