  • Requirements: Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and resilience, pass an enhanced DBS check, provide security and support, ability to build strong relationships, flexibility in working hours including sleep over shifts, full availability, full UK driving license and own car, minimum age of 22 for insurance purposes

We are working closely with our client to recruit for inspiring and exciting, support workers to support children and young people on a residential basis.

The purpose of this role:

To assist the Manager in the delivery of a quality service in the Home in line with safeguarding policies and Ofsted frame work.

To provide advice, assistance and support to children.

 To attend to their practical, physical and emotional needs. 

To act as an appropriate role model and to work closely with them to enable them to address their difficulties and achieve their optimum potential.

Successful candidates will be:

  • Able to demonstrate empathy, patience and resilience in challenging circumstances.
  • Pass an enhanced DBS for children and adults. 
  • Provide security and support to children and young adults.
  • Demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships with people from a variety of backgrounds.
  • You must be flexible in terms of working hours- Sleep over shifts will be included in your shift patterns.
  • Previous experience working with children or young adults would be advantageous.

This role is a full time role and will include working unsociable hours, bank holidays, weekends. Please do not apply if you cannot offer full availability.

Full UK driving  licence and own car are essential
