We are currently looking to recruit a Class 2 Driver/Warehouse Operative to work with our client based in Dartford.
What will you do in a typical day?
Candidates will be tasked with delivering chemicals and gases to docks and other company depots. All products are unloaded via forklift when they reach the delivery point, however there will be some manual work involved at times.
On average drivers will be expected to complete between 1-2 deliveries per shift.
We are looking for candidates who are happy to be flexible as this is a very varied role which also requires work in the warehouse. Drivers will be in charge of picking/packing their own products, along with labelling before going out for delivery. Candidates must also be willing to get involved in inventory and stock control where necessary.
An ADR licence is desirable for this position, however the client is also willing to put the right candidate through their training course!
What are the working hours?
- The working hours are 08:30 - 17:00 with an hour for lunch.
- The working days are Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday's on a rota. Any weekend work is paid at overtime.
