The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Welding Process Engineer to join an expanding business, to be part of the engineering department at their state of the art manufacturing facility in Derby.
Scope of role
- Working with cross functional teams to drive and improve KPI's, efficiency and quality.
- Champion waste reduction.
- Work with the NPI and projects team to implement new products into existing and new lines.
- Be part of the daily handover and start up meetings.
- Collate relevant daa in order to present to the leadership team.
The Welding Process Engineer
- Educated to a minimum of HNC in engineering.
- Current experience of welding process engineering.
- Knowledge of welding processes with TIG welding essential.
- Confident in driving through process changes and improvements.
- Proven track record using problem solving methodology such as 8D.
