Robert Half are pleased to be partnering with a rapidly growing organisation based in Didcot (Milton Park) to recruit a Financial Analyst (Could be considered a Management Accountant). The Financial Analyst will receive a salary of up to £45,000 along with other attractive benefits including hybrid remote working (2 days a week in the office). This role would best suit a progressive individual who is part or fully qualified.

Primary responsibilities -

  • Completing the month-end and quarter-end close processes - analysing results; preparing journal entries and detailed balance sheet reconciliations; and various reporting deliverables for the senior leadership team(s)
  • Tracking & analysing deferred revenue streams
  • Building and nurturing relationships and providing excellent customer service to the business unit(s)
  • Preparing audit requests and responding to queries during quarterly reviews and the interim and year-end audit
  • Assisting the business unit(s) with maintaining an accurate forecast
  • Technical accounting analysis under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Supporting senior leadership with monthly forecasting activities
  • Assisting with special ad hoc projects that impact various stakeholders within the organisation

Key experience and attributes -

  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA studier or qualified
  • Robust management accounts experience with solid technical exposure
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • A can do approach. Must possess a positive attitude and display the ability to identify alternative solutions to problems
  • Relentless in exceeding customer expectations and continually exceeding goals
  • A commitment to achieving the best solutions i.e. rigorous approach to work
