I am currently working with a manufacturing company who is looking to recruit a Financial Accountant. They pride themselves on building long-term relationships with their customers.
The main aim of the role is to produce and analyse financial information and preparing accurate and timely financial reports.
Financial Accountant responsibilities include:
- Produce monthly consolidated management accounts including profit and loss, balance sheet & cash flow statements
- Providing variance analysis and related commentary
- Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
- Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts
- Prepare audit pack for year end
- VAT and tax returns
- Monthly sales reports
- Complete all ONS returns
- Accruals and pre-payments
Financial Accountant skills and experience:
- Part qualified or qualified by experience
- Solid experience of financial reporting
- Ability to analyse data & problem solve
- Excellent attention to details
- Advanced Excel skills
