This position requires a Senior Payroll Administrator who is proficient in accounting and finance, with a deep understanding of professional services. The successful candidate will manage payroll processes, ensuring accuracycand compliance.

Description

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processes for a diverse range of clients.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies promptly and accurately.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure smooth operation.
  • Prepare reports on payroll expenses and allocations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of payroll information.
  • Stay up-to-date with payroll-related legislative changes.
  • Ensure client payroll work is managed and supervise Payroll Semi Seniors and assistants to ensure effective workflow
  • Conduct payroll processing work on an allocated portfolio of clients; extend this to any client during times of peak demand
  • Ensure payroll processing log is completed
  • Ensure payroll action log is completed
  • Escalate more complex payroll areas and queries that require Assistant Manager or above assistance and input
  • Monitor work progress and ensure appropriate levels of communication with all clients and internal stakeholders on progress for each key task or phase
  • Process standard Payroll RTI reviews
  • Complete pension upload processing
  • Where agreed review the work of assistants

Profile

A successful Payroll Senior should have:

  • An educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and systems.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll practices and legislation.
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
