Morgan McKinley is working with a privately owned and market leading Farm Management company with a strong UK presence, to recruit a Business Finance Manager.

The Role

My client is looking to recruit a Business Finance Manager into a newly created and exciting role as part of a finance transformation project which will upskill the Group Finance function, and will be achieved through a combination of leveraging Technology, developing a business partner model, acquisition integration and re-purposing the service delivery model.

Reporting into the Group Finance Director, you will support on developing a Group Finance Organisation that provides excellent insight, analysis, governance and business partnering, in order to deliver improvements in Business Performance Competitiveness and their approach to Integrated Risk Management.

Key areas of focus:

  • Support with designing and implementing business / KPIs reporting, financial processes and controls, budgets & forecasts and decision support analysis
  • Support with In-sourcing of reporting, and involvement in designing and implementing group-wide ERP system
  • Responsibility for governance, reporting and analysis of financial performance
  • Business Partner and key member of the finance leadership team
  • Management reporting: cashflow, P&L, balance sheet, capex

The Person

To be considered for this role, you will be a Qualified Accountant with a passion for business and process improvement. You will need to be resilient and outcome focused with a change management mindset, and strong Business Partner expertise with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders as required.

Ideally you will have some knowledge or experience of the Farming / Agricultural sector, or alternatively you will have had exposure to the Food Supply Chain.

You might currently be working at Manager level within Consultancy, and have a desire to be involved in finance transformation and driving business and process improvements.

My client has sites across the UK, and this is very much a hybrid role with the option of working largely from home but with some UK based travel.
