Salary: from 62,500 to 93,750 OTE per year

About the Home:

This role is based at a brand-new purpose built 50+ bed luxury home. Facilities include walk-in wet rooms to every bedroom, external garden areas and a cinema to name but a few.

Key responsibilities of a Home Manager:

As the head of the Home, strong leadership and coaching skills are paramount. Communication skills are vital to be able to demonstrate empathy, engage team members, and work with families and residents alike.

As a Home Manager, your role encompasses ensuring the overall well-being of our residents. This involves attending to their physical, emotional, and social needs. You will also be responsible for leading, motivating, and guiding your team, while providing clinical direction and training to ensure the care home operates safely and efficiently. Your duties include conducting assessments and crafting personalised care plans for each resident, as well as overseeing work areas to ensure compliance with standards and regulations. Emphasising residents' independence, choice, dignity, and respect is paramount, achieved through maintaining high standards of care and actively seeking opportunities for enhancement.

Essential for the role:

  • Proven management experience at a similar level
  • A clinical background, a registered nurse with active NMC Pin
  • Established leadership skills to manage large teams
  • Effective multi-tasking and prioritization
  • Strong commercial awareness - care industry preferred but not required
  • You'll be up to date with current evidence based practice and have a working knowledge of CQC Standards and Regulations and will work using your initiative making effective decisions to improve care quality
  • A Registered Manager with relevant experience in a senior management capacity is desirable
