If you enjoy working in a busy and vibrant office environment, then this Sage Accounts Senior role could be perfect for you. Rapidly growing, they have a need for an experienced Sage Accounts Senior to join them on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will report into the Finance Manager and will have 2 direct reports.
Your new role
Sage Line 50 experience is essential to this role.
Main tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Reconciling bank accounts and credit cards on Sage Line 50
- Preparing annual year-end accounts for all 6 companies ready for submission to an external accountant
- Ensuring all client and deposit accounts reconcile ready for Audit by Governing bodies
- Allocate rental payments received to the correct tenant codes using CFP software
- Ensuring all landlords and contractors are paid in a timely manner
- Maintain the creditors ledgers on Sage Line 50 and ensure all suppliers are paid within the credit terms
- Review and post transactions from completions statements received from Company Solicitors in relation to new property purchases
- Be the first point of contact to the accounts team and assist with any queries they may have
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will possess a 'to do' work ethic and be able to work alone as well as part of an enthusiastic team, using their initiative to delegate where necessary to the accounts assistants. You will be required to report to the COO and CEO with the financial data of 6 companies, all within the same sector, on a regular basis and identify any areas in which the companies are failing to be profitable.
