Business Development Executive / Business Development Manager / Sales Representative / Sales Manager
Commutable to East Grinstead
Up to £45,000 plus Commission scheme.


A market-leading business is looking for a Business Development Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a great relationship builder looking to move to a position where you will be paid a commission on all your sales. You will be selling Logistics services to a range of industries including Fashion, Cosmetics, Beauty, Wellbeing etc.

The Business Development Manager would be responsible for Proactively seeking new business by following a methodical and consistent approach. Developing, maximizing, and improving all sales opportunities that arise from opportunities identified by both you and the company.

This would suit a business development executive or sales executive looking for career progression, the first 6 months will be the initial training period learning all aspects of the role and business.

Business Development Executive / Business Development Manager/ Sales Representative / Sales Manager Responsibilities
  • Selling Logistics services to a range of industries including Fashion, Cosmetics, Beauty, Wellbeing etc.
  • Participate actively in all marketing activities, including online and offline campaigns, direct mailings, and exhibitions.
  • Be prepared to travel throughout Europe.
  • To be able to manage personal diaries and book geographically strategic meetings.
  • Input and maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM which is currently Salesforce
  • Communicate clearly, in writing, the requirements of all new customers to the implementation team and collaborate throughout the onboarding process to ensure successful integration.
  • Upsell all services to prospective customers
  • Be responsible for promoting new initiatives and services
  • To hit all annual sales targets.
  • To promote the business positively always.
Business Development Executive / Business Development Manager / Sales Representative / Sales Manager requirements
  • A proven background in the ability to convert new business
  • Experience in the Logistics industry is beneficial
  • Experience selling to Fashion, Cosmetics, Beauty, Wellbeing etc will be advantageous.
  • Previous experience of using Salesforce or similar CRM is desirable 
  • The ability to handle and manage negative feedback, objection, and rejection.
  • Superb administration of own activities.
  • IT Literate – able to use Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and Excel to a competent standard.
  • Methodical and organised ways of working
  • Good interpersonal skills at all levels of seniority.
  • Driving Licence required and ability to travel in the UK and Europe
