Job Title: Chef De Partie
Location: Mayfair, London
Salary: up to £38,000
Working Hours: Full-time, flexible hours
I'm currently looking to recruit a Chef De Partie on behalf of my client, an exquisite Italian casual fine dining restaurant nestled in the heart of Mayfair, London.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Head Chef in menu development, ensuring the authenticity and quality of Italian cuisine.
- Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating, to maintain consistency and excellence.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and culinary innovation.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Manage inventory levels and ordering to minimize waste and optimize cost efficiency.
- Support in creating a positive dining experience for guests, exceeding their expectations through exceptional food quality and presentation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a high-end restaurant or fine dining establishment.
- Expertise in Italian cuisine, with a deep understanding of traditional techniques and flavors.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities to handle a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering memorable culinary experiences.
- Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are preferred.
