Our client is looking for an experienced Acoustic Engineer to join their leading independent Acoustic Consultancy. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of worldwide iconic projects across Art, Media, Sport, Industrial, Government, Education and many more sectors!
Acoustic Engineer Requirements:
- Relevant Acoustics degree or similar
- Relevant experience in a similar role, Building Acoustics experience preferable
- Knowledge of legislation and guidelines relevant to the acoustics sector
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Ready to apply for AMIOA with the Institute of Acoustics (IoA)
Acoustic Engineer Duties:
- Undertake noise assessments and surveys
- Preparation of fee proposals
- Noise modelling work using software including CadnaA & ODEON
- Prepare and complete technical reports
- Liaise with clients regarding project requirements
- Environmental noise surveys
- Site visits
