Yaniv Edery Gallery, a new and exciting cultural destination in Edinburgh, is seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead the operations of our soon-to-open art and events venue with hotel rooms. This unique space will not only showcase Yaniv Edery art but will also host high-end functions and serve as a networking bar, complemented by four luxurious hotel bedrooms.
About the Role: This is a live-in position where the General Manager will play a pivotal role in launching and establishing the gallery as a premier venue for art, events, and hospitality. Residing in one of the gallery’s hotel rooms offers a unique opportunity to fully immerse in and contribute to the cultural life of Edinburgh.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the operational setup and opening of the gallery.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the gallery, hotel rooms, and bar.
- Plan and execute high-end functions and networking events.
- Uphold exceptional levels of customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Develop strategies to boost the visibility and profitability of the venue.
- Handle staff recruitment, training, and development.
- Ensure all activities comply with health and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience in hospitality, event management, or related fields.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A strong passion for art and cultural engagement.
- Flexible and innovative mindset, with the ability to adapt to the evolving needs of the gallery.
