Non-Contentious Construction Lawyer (7+ years')
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Construction Lawyer to step into a senior-level role within a growing and respected transactional construction team. This is your chance to work with a market-leading firm involved in some of the UK’s most innovative infrastructure and energy projects.
The Role
You’ll work closely with a broad range of clients, including developers, funders, contractors and consultants. You will be advising on construction contracts and infrastructure projects across the UK. From main building contracts to bespoke agreements and cutting-edge energy developments, you’ll be at the heart of major deals. You’ll also support junior lawyers, collaborate across departments and contribute to business development initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate
- 7+ years' PQE in transactional construction (Scotland or England & Wales qualified)
- Strong knowledge of JCT, NEC, FIDIC and bespoke contracts
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and commercial skills
- Experience in both standalone and real estate-backed construction projects
- A team player with a proactive mindset and appetite for leadershipÂ
