Key Responsibilities:

We’re looking for adaptable and confident individuals to be a part of our team- you’ll be provided with training to get you settled in Ikigai Ramen way!

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, your responsibilities will range from assisting the site’s General Manager to oversee the day to day operation of Ikigai Ramen and ensuring the restaurant is managed at a high-level while maintaining high-quality customer service.

  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the establishment
  • Supervise and train staff members in various departments such as front of house and bartending
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve service quality and efficiency
  • Ensure smooth execution and customer satisfaction
  • Assist with maintaining inventory levels and order stock as needed
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience as Assistant General Manager is highly preferable, or at least Restaurant Supervisor
  • Organisation and time management (ability to handle admin and operational duties on a daily basis)
  • Financial acumen (understanding basic financial principles, including budgeting, cost control and profitability analysis)
  • Strong grasp on operational knowledge within a hospitality/restaurant context
  • Adaptable to variety of task loads
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to solve issues seamlessly
