Key Responsibilities:

We’re looking for adaptable and confident individuals to be a part of our team- you’ll be provided with training to get you settled in Maki & Ramen way!

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, your responsibilities will range from assisting the site’s General Manager to oversee the day to day operation of Maki & Ramen and ensuring the restaurant is managed at a high-level while maintaining high-quality customer service.

  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the establishment
  • Supervise and train staff members in various departments such as front of house and bartending
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve service quality and efficiency
  • Ensure smooth execution and customer satisfaction
  • Assist with maintaining inventory levels and order stock as needed
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience as Assistant General Manager is highly preferable, or at least Restaurant Supervisor
  • Organisation and time management (ability to handle admin and operational duties on a daily basis)
  • Financial acumen (understanding basic financial principles, including budgeting, cost control and profitability analysis)
  • Strong grasp on operational knowledge within a hospitality/restaurant context
  • Adaptable to variety of task loads
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to solve issues seamlessly
