Restaurant Manager

The Gardener's Cottage are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our small, friendly team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a proven track record of leadership in the restaurant industry, and the ability to inspire excellence in both staff and guest experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and guest satisfaction
• Train and supervise front-of-house and back-of-house staff to company standards.
• Set and maintain high standards for service, cleanliness, and safety
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimise costs
• Create and maintain a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and professional growth
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Regular stock takes
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in a high-volume, fine dining establishment
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Knowledge of restaurant management software (e.g., POS systems, inventory management)
