We are looking for an experienced and committed Front of House Manager to join our client at their prestigious events venue near Edinburgh. Responsibilities in your new role as Front of House Manager

  • Ensure that every department maintains a consistently exceptional level of guest service
  • Foster a culture of excellence in guest relations characterised by a warm welcome and a commitment to surpassing expectations
  • Collaborate with all Department Heads to ensure seamless day-to-day operations
  • Keep track of the hotel's event calendar and stay updated on all revisions and additions
  • Coordinate with the General Manager to forecast hotel business and strategise accordingly

Your personality, experience and qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Front of House Manager role must have prior experience in supervising or managing events and conferences, demonstrating flexibility to work various shift patterns. They should exhibit a strong dedication to providing exceptional customer service, with the ability to actively listen and respond to guest requirements. Being well-presented and punctual is essential, along with effective multitasking skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities. The role requires the capacity to work well under pressure and adapt to diverse work scenarios, demonstrating initiative and proficient problem-solving skills.

Due to the location of this role, candidates require a driving licence and access to their own personal vehicle.
