Energy Pricing Analyst
Salary: Up to £28,000 (DOE) Location: EllandHours: Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5pm (early finish every Friday)Full-time, Permanent PositionDo you want to be a part of a dynamic, forward-thinking energy operations team? The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of energy procurement and pricing, coupled with excellent analytical and communication skills.The Key Responsibilities of the Energy Pricing Analyst:* Manage fixed and flexible energy procurement for clients.* Create and submit tenders to utility suppliers.* Collate half-hourly and daily metered data to support tendering and usage analysis.* Produce pricing analysis and input matrix/bespoke pricing for sales teams ahead of client meetings.* Process signed contracts and confirm acceptance with suppliers.* Handle objections to energy transfers by liaising with suppliers and clients.* Maintain accurate records in the energy database, including renewals, objections, and live dates.* Build and maintain strong relationships with energy suppliers to understand their products and services.* Attend supplier and client meetings/events.* Provide regular market intelligence and stay up to date with energy market trends and terminology.* Participate in ongoing training, development, and performance reviews.* Adhere to company policies, procedures, and compliance standards.* Promote a culture of fairness, openness, and honesty in all customer interactions.* Comply with health, safety, environmental, and legal requirements relevant to the role.The Key Requirements of the Energy Pricing Analyst:* Strong analytical and numerical skills.* Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.* Knowledge of energy markets and procurement processes.* Proficiency in data handling and reporting.* Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.* A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
