We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Finance Administrator to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for maintaining financial systems and providing excellent support within a care home environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our financial processes. Would be suitable for someone who is looking for their 2nd job and is good at analysing.

Day to day of the role:
  • Maintain cash flow and ensure accurate allocation of bank transactions.
  • Implement and manage the bank interface with Sage Intacct.
  • Handle resident and supplier queries efficiently.
  • Automate resident invoicing and assist in the development of paperless AP invoices.
  • Develop invoice approval paths and maintain a new AP system.
  • Assist in the development of a new Time and Attendance system.
  • Reconcile and manage new prepaid cash cards.
  • Generate ad hoc reports as required by the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Excellent understanding of Sage software.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial matters.
  • Good interpersonal skills with residents and suppliers.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Organised, diligent, and able to manage multiple tasks.
