Job title: Payroll administratorLocation: Epsom (hybrid 2 days in the office after an initial two-week training period)Length of assignment: 8 weeksHours: 08.30- 17.00pm (37.5 hours)Requirements of the role: Enhanced DBS and credit check will be required. Pay rate: £20.00 per hour PAYE or £26.00 per hour via an umbrella company. 

I am urgently seeking an experienced payroll administrator to cover a period of sick leave.  My client, an international engineering company, require someone to join their small payroll team of 4 for an initial 8-week period.  You will need to have experience of calculating both maternity and paternity pay and used to working in a high-volume environment.  The payroll is run monthly for 12,000 employees.  Job Description of the payroll administrator:

· Knowledge of Statutory Maternity, Paternity, Adoption and Shared Parental Leave preferably to include Alabaster re- calculations.· Manual calculations· P45 processing· Daily net pay calculations for jury service· Daily load of HMRC changes· Knowledge of SSP rules, manual processing of unpaid sick absences for employees with less than 6 months service· Manual processing of long-term sickness hourly pay adjustmentsRequirements of the payroll administrator:

Ideally experience of Oracle, or similar payroll system.Experience of manual calculations for maternity and paternity pay.Experience of high volume payroll transaction.If you are able to start work on less than one weeks notice and happy to have an enhanced DBS taken up alongside a credit check, please apply for immediate consideration.
