Reed have partnered with an Engineering company in Rochester who are seeking a a Service Administrator to join their professional Service Department.
The purpose of the Service Administrator is to provide support to the Service Contract Managers in the administration of long-term contracts for servicing, repair, maintenance.
Day to Day of the Service Administrator:
- Assist in preparing and submitting risk assessments and method statements.
- Upload documentation to client portals and apply for site access permits.
- Order parts and stock items, confirming parts on the internal system.
- Raise purchase orders and handle client enquiries.
- Produce retrospective quotes for call-outs and chase client purchase orders.
- Sign off engineers’ timesheets and ensure accurate data entry.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Service Administartor:
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Computer literacy with a focus on accurate and quick data input.
- Strong planning and organising skills.
- A flexible approach with a willingness to expand skills and knowledge.
- Knowledge of the engineering industry in a similar role
- Ability to work on own initiative and within a team environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, hardworking, and approachable.
