Environmental Consultant

Geoenvironmental Consultant

Competetive salary plus car & bonus

This role will not suit people who enjoy the status quo of knowing what you will be doing each day. This environment requires much more dynamism and the ability to think on your feet (with back up support) to deliver solutions in a time critical manner.

  • Are you much more interested in the Environmental aspects of your work rather than the Engineering?
  • Are you a Ground Investigation Engineer who is frustrated by leaving the project just at it starts? Rarely seeing a solution delivered and everything reinstated?

Use your technical GeoEnvironmental or Environmental skills, along with your project management and organisational skills to arrange site works including investigation and remediation works in a fast-paced environment.

Our client provides dynamic - rapid response environmental solutions and is a leading provider in their industry, setting the standards their competitors aspire to follow, significantly reducing the risk of pollution, and ensuring their customers operations are suitable.

As an Environmental Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering professional and technically proficient environmental risk reduction services, ensuring your clients play their part in the sustainable future. You will be responsible for the management of your projects, liaising across the internal teams, external contractors and clients, arranging site works and communicating with relevant parties. As part of this you will design site investigations and supervise remediation works, then manage contractors on-site

In addition, you will schedule laboratory analysis and prepare reports, including risk assessments and site investigation reports, whilst taking responsibility for project financials and assisting in the development of team members.

The company pays a competitive salary and provides a company car as well as a productive bonus scheme. As a large organisation, the benefits package is very strong and the culture is extremely positive.

You will hold a degree in the geo/earth sciences sector and be working towards chartership. You will have gained 2-3 years experience within the environmental field and will have knowledge of site investigations (particularly drilling techniques) and remediation strategies,

To be successful in this role, you will possess a degree in a relevant earth science or geo-environmental discipline.
