As a General Assistant in our Machine Shop, you will perform daily maintenance and cleaning duties to keep the machine floor clean, empty waste and bins on a daily basis.

As a busy machine shop we have fine chips and filings of stone, metal, and other materials produced as waste by our machining operation.

This is what your daily general assistant routine would be like:

• Wiping down and cleaning exterior machines each day
• Change and replenishing machine coolant
• Cutting and deburr material
• Forklift truck driving duties when required (training may be given once introductory period complete).
