About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our team. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our culinary staff in food preparation, meal production, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. What you will be doing
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and assembling ingredients
- Help with meal production by following recipes and portioning ingredients
- Support the kitchen staff during cooking and baking processes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing deliveries
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
What we need from you:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
