  • Candidates must hold solid, occupational competency within Horticulture - minimum of 2 years (gardener or groundskeeper etc.)
  • Must have experience of delivering on-the-job training to colleagues within a Horticultural setting.
  • Ideally hold or willingness to work towards an Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
  • Confident and comfortable to deliver training to small groups of learners.
  • Must hold a full, clean UK driving licence and have access to own vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel.
Duties include:
  • Assess and support learners working towards Horticulture Apprenticeships, in a workshop / small group setting.
  • Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours.
  • Monitor student attendance and progress through regular learner assessment and reviews.
  • Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
