Process Controls Engineer required. Bennett and Game Recruitment are currently representing a world leader in the design, engineering and delivery of turnkey projects to the industrial gases sector who are currently recruiting for a Process Controls Engineer within a commutable distance of Godalming. The successful candidate will provide software, process and control engineering solutions to the business and have previous experience in a transferrable position.

Process Controls Engineer Position Overview

  • Prepare designs and detailed drawings of equipment and systems and also include the procurement and any use of external engineering services
  • Provide efficient Software engineering when needed
  • Undertake site surveys and supervise site installations of systems and equipment.
  • Help undertake the final plant start up and commissioning
  • Implement technical operations, strategy and leadership and business and proposal development
  • Ensure all work and equipment is following and in line with company standards and health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure that all project documents and files are strictly in line with iProject ISO9001
  • Participate in HAZOPS studies or risk assessments to help the company evaluate the safe working and operations of the plant.

Process Controls Engineer Position Overview Requirements

  • Experience using Siemens TIA Portal and Step 7
  • Experience of programming using LADDER and SCL in a live production Environment
  • Familiar with the concept of object-orientated design and using FB instancesto
  • Must be able to demonstrate experience commissioning PLC code in a live production environment
  • Able to understand or has implemented comms to external devices using MODBUS, RTU, MODBUS TCP, PUT/GET, TSEND/TRCV & OPC UA
  • Experience with the design and implantation of HMI or SCADA based systems
  • Able to demonstrate good HMI design fundamentals to ensure a quality user for the client
  • Must be able to demonstrate efficient design to ensure the capacity for future expansion
  • Experience with implementing Siemens HMI's in TIA Portal
  • Based within a commutable distance of Godalming
