Business Development Manager - Desk Based

Our client is one of the fastest growing specialist lenders in the Property Finance market, specialising with Bridging and Development Finance loans. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced desk based Business Development Manager to be a key component of the Investor Relations Team who are responsible for all communication with shareholders, the market, and the general investment community.

As Business Development Manager, your role will be instrumental in supporting the Investor Relations team to sustain and enhance current intermediary relationships. Your day-to-day will involve generating leads, qualifying potential customers through outbound calling, and presenting product features with confidence and clarity. You will be tasked with obtaining new business and forging new intermediary relations, all while maintaining meticulous records on CRM systems.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust track record of surpassing sales targets, primarily through telephone-based interactions. Exceptional communication skills, an influential nature, and a target-driven approach are essential. Candidates should also demonstrate strong time management, organisational abilities, and resilience in the face of rejection. A background in financial services (property finance) is essential, along with a collaborative spirit and a commitment to team success.
