Job Title: Slinger/Banksman

Location: Gravesend

We are currently seeking a diligent and experienced Slinger/Banksman to join our client's team in Gravesend. The chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in our client's construction projects, ensuring the safe movement of materials, equipment, and the general public around the site.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate as a Slinger/Banksman, managing the safe passage of the general public around the construction site.
  • Monitor traffic within the site, ensuring safe movement from loading to unloading points.
  • Coordinate crane movement efficiently, overseeing loading and unloading operations.
  • Utilize strong communication skills to liaise with crane operators and other team members effectively.
  • Maintain a vigilant watch on the site, promptly addressing any safety concerns or hazards.

Requirements:

  • Valid Slinger/Banksman ticket.
  • Current CPCS or NPORS certification.
  • Proven track record of working effectively within a team.
  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills to facilitate coordination among team members.
