My client needs a capable and motivated person with experience in a manufacturing or engineering company who can use your administrative and organisational skills coupled with your technical and MRP / ERP systems capability to support manufacturing / production operations.

You may not be technically qualified but you will have worked in engineering, manufacturing or technical companies and so you will be able to understand and work with technical information, specifications, drawings and systems.

THE ROLE:

In this key role you will lead and / or be involved with a variety of tasks including, for example, supporting BOM, technical and manufacturing data, ensuring drawings, configurationsand work instructions are accurate and up to date. This will require effective use of relevant computer systems (e.g. MRP systems).

You will work closely with manufacturing, quality and other departments to ensure good communication and that information is clear, consistent and communicated effectively.

TO APPLY:

The successful candidate will have working in an engineering, manufacturing or production environment and be ready to apply their skills in a new role.

You should be able to work with technical information and not be afraid to learn new things by asking good questions.

You should be flexible and willing to get involed in a variety of tasks and projects

You should have some or all of:

- Good IT systems skills ideally including MRP / ERP or similat systems.

- Good written and communication skills with a logical and structured approach.

- An understanding of quality systems.

- Able to work with engineering drawings and detailed technical specifications - any CAD experience is useful but not essential.

- Experience in a supporting role in an operationalmanufacturing type environment.

- Any knowledge of Continuous Improvement tools and techniques will be desirable.
