We are working with a large SEN Neurodiverse school in Hailsham who are looking for experienced and qualified Learning Support Assistants to start when the new academic year begins in September. The school is an independent, coeducational, day school which caters for students across Key Stages 1 - 4 with EHC Plans of social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties and a range of additional learning difficulties including Autism and Moderate Learning Difficulties.

Your key duties as a Learning Support Assistant will be to:
- Support the children mainly in small groups and occasionally on a 1:1 basis.
- Using your experience of effective behaviour management.
- Ensure all tasks delegated by the teacher are carried out in a positive manner.
- Must have had previous experience of working in a classroom setting.
- Holding a level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification would be beneficial, but not essential.
- Be willing to participate in lunch-time cover.
- Any experience of running your own interventions is advantageous.
It is essential that you have previous experience supporting pupils with SEN and being able to help children with their work who are academically struggling.
The school is set in a suburban site in Hailsham in a nice residential area.
