Anderson Knight are business partnering with a key client who are not only a market leader within the UK, they form part of a larger entity known across the globe.

Due to an internal re-restructure, our client seeks to recruit the position of Head of Supply Chain which forms part of the Senior Management Team, reporting to the UK Managing Director.

The key duties and responsibilities for this role will include:

  • Strategic and tactical leadership of the Supply Chain to build an outstanding team and drive improvement in quality, efficiency, and product delivery
  • Contribute to improvement in field efficiency across both service and install
  • Strategically optimise our inbound and outbound logistics and material supply chains
  • Use LEAN tools and empowered culture to build the Supply Chain into a core strength of the UK Business
  • Indirectly oversee a supply chain team of 50 staff to efficiently manage the production and supply of product to customers and installation teams
  • Optimise stock and replenishment processes to balance inventory with meeting customer needs in a demanding, project-based market

The ideal candidate will have a core background within the Supply Chain ideally within manufacturing together with the following key attributes:

  • A strong, collaborative leader, who leads by coaching and nurturing growth in others
  • A high energy leader who can motivate, influence, and develop people to drive continuous improvements
  • Proven track record of leading and delivering improvement projects, along with implementing change in a Production environment
  • Strong advocate of lead manufacturing and standard operating systems
  • Sound knowledge within a relevant manufacturing and logistics operation

This role forms part of the UK Leadership team therefore you will be involved in key decisions made across the business in order to grow what is already a successful operation.
